Adam Stiber - Cello
Mr. Stiber has been teaching private lessons since 2017. He is in his second year of DMA studies at UNLV, where he is a student of Las Vegas Philharmonic Principal Cellist Dr. Andrew Smith. There he has served as Graduate Teaching Assistant for Cello Repertoire, Music Appreciation, and Symphony Orchestra, for which he is also Principal Cello. Additionally, he has been the cellist in the University’s Wind Orchestra, and has appeared as Principal Cello with the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a student of Uri Vardi. His other principal teachers have been Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Principal Cellist Peter Howard and Paul Critser, of the Pittsburgh Ballet and Opera Orchestra.
