Mrs. Daskalova has been a private teacher since 2012. She has been studying music since she was 6 years old. She grew up here in Las Vegas where she was able to perform, even at a young age, in various recitals and concerts. While in middle school and high school, she performed in various competitions receiving many superior ratings and honors. As a college student at UNLV, she continued my study as both a pianist and vocalist. She received my Bachelor Degree from UNLV with the aid of a vocal scholarship, and during my 4 years she competed against other musicians in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada; St. George, Utah; San Diego, California; and Sacramento, California where she received varying awards of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as Honorable Mentions. Also, while at UNLV, she performed in 6 different operas. She performed principle roles such as Barbarina from Le Nozze di Figaro and Leonora from The Beautiful Bridegroom by Dan Shore, and leading roles such as Eurydice and Little Red Riding Hood. She has taught piano to people of many different ages for 6 years, and has taught voice for 4 years. She plans to teach the disciplines of music as well as inspire a creativity and passion in my students.
