Our Approach to Drums

Every drum teacher on the Family Music Centers team is degree verified and background checked, then hired directly by us rather than brought in through an outside agency. That means real range, from rudiments and reading to rock, jazz and Latin styles, so it's easier to find someone whose teaching style actually fits how you or your child learns best.

Our drum lessons happen in person at our Las Vegas studio, where we've been teaching since 1995. Students track real progress through our Milestone Program and get to perform at recitals throughout the year, so learning the drums always feels like it's building toward something.

Foundational rhythm, coordination and technique taught through songs and creative exploration, with real recitals and Milestone Program certificates to keep young students motivated.

Beginner Drum Lessons

No experience needed. Whether you're four years old or forty, our teachers meet you exactly where you are and build confidence one beat at a time.

Adult Drum Lessons

Flexible scheduling for adults starting fresh, returning after years away, or finally making time for the drums they've always wanted to learn.

Advanced Drum Instruction

For experienced students working toward auditions, bands or deeper technical mastery, with teachers who bring real performance backgrounds across rock, jazz and Latin styles.

Francisco Nanne

Drums & Percussion

Trained at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles under teachers like Rob Carson and Chuck Silverman, and has taught drums full-time since 2019, helping students build technique, creativity and structured practice habits.

Eric Zellner

Drums, Guitar & Piano

Studied jazz at UNLV and has taught privately since 2020, specializing in drums alongside guitar, piano and bass for students of every style.
